What is postural neck pain/syndrome ?

Postural neck pain/syndrome can vary from person to person and is determined by damage to muscles and vertebrae in the neck and spine. Typically, postural syndrome/pain is triggered by a variety of lifestyle factors and health conditions which in turn affect the level of pain experienced. Postural neck pain/syndrome can lead to other spinal or neck conditions, nerve irritation or muscle spasms.

It is important to maintain good posture and a healthy lifestyle to reduce the likelihood of developing postural neck pain/syndrome. If ignored or mismanaged, postural pain can worsen over time. Postural pain can also be indicative of, or mimic other spinal conditions.
